In view of further sales expansion and continuous development of Selena’s position in the United States we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of:

Inventory & Logistic Coordinator

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and managing all activities during the purchasing process, such as creating purchase orders, monitoring transportation and invoice creation and follow-through.
  • Analyze and monitor internal, economic, and consumer trends to forecast sales and inventory.
  • Authorize returns of merchandise.
  • Develop positive relationships with freight and external logistics companies.
  • Investigate and recommend optimal shipping options and coordinate with vendors.
  • Ensure shipping compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
  • Establish and maintain logistics procedures and systems, and ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
  • Process orders and ensure shipments meet schedules, supervising the procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain operational reports, analyzing existing distribution networks to identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Analyze carrier bids, rates, costs, and tariffs to identify savings or best options.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts throughout.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and buyers and determine obsolete stock while optimizing inventory turnover.
  • Implement and execute an inventory replenishment system ensuring proper levels of stock.
  • Coordinate with shipping warehouse to ensure all receiving shipments are moving in and out of the warehouse as scheduled.
  • Oversee financial transactions related to logistics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts throughout.
  • Generate reports on inventory balance and shortages.
  • Assist accounting department in basic accounting tasks.

Our expectations:

  • Higher level education in related discipline such as logistics / transport / production / economics
  • 3 years of experience in the area of supply chain or on similar positions
  • Preferable experience on local market gained within similar scale of business
  • Proven successes in delivery of savings
  • Very high analytical skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong decision making and negotiation skills
  • Accounting experience and skills a plus
  • High organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks with equal efficiency
