Selena Group is steadily increasing market share in Russia. Selena’s Russian sales in 2010 were ca. 45% up on the previous year. Thanks to Tytan Professional brand and the high-yield foam Tytan 65 Selena leads the Russian market of gun polyurethane foams.
After the four quarters of 2010, Selena Group posted cumulative sales of PLN 879 m vs. PLN 641 m achieved in the corresponding period 2009, which is an increase by 37%. The gross profit in this period amounted to PLN 267 m, up 23% on the previous year. The operating profit came in at PLN 32.6 m, while the net profit was PLN 25.1 m. In 2011, Selena expects to achieve a 20% increase in sales leveraging off the existing Group structure.
Matizol – a member of Selena Group – has recently become the official sponsor of the basketball team Lider Pruszkow. Matizol will sponsor the 2011/2012 season and the team will change its name to Matizol Lider Pruszkow.
Selena Bohemia – a member of Selena Group – is launching a promotional campaign for the newest brand in its portfolio – Tytan EOS. Czech Republic is the next country to market professional insulation systems Tytan EOS. Broadening Selena’s product offer is one of the key aspects in the company’s strategy focused on reaching new markets and developing exports.
Selena Group has completed construction works on its new PU foam production plant in China. The company has already began pilot production. The investment – funded from the Group’s own resources – was worth PLN 30 million. Selena’s facility is the only Polish investment in the Nantong Zone.
